Services provided by NIC District Centre, Nagpur

The NIC,Dist Centre, Nagpur is setup in 1988 located in the premises of Collectorate, Nagpur for providing technical support and guidance in implementation of computerisation and create socio-economic datababase in the district.Also to provide the NICNET services for data transmission from District to Mantralaya, Mumbai and vice versa.

In NIC,District Centre Setup having -

Server( Win 2008 ), Linux server (RHL),  Clients (win-XP,Win-7) machines & Laptop. 

MFD Scanner/Printer  

Two 5-KVA  UPS power supply.

34Mbps/ 1Gpps Leased Line (OFC), Router , Two 24 port switchs, for data transmission, e-mail and network connectivity with other Govt. Depts. Viz.  Collectorate, High Court, Passport, Dept. of Post, CGHS, Immigration (Airport), treasury office , PAOs, DAP (Dept of Postal Accounts), Forest Dept., Distict Court, NKN (National Knowledge Network) Connectivity etc.

Video Conferencing (VC) Facility using EVCS system over IP Network of NIC.

Software/Product Information supported by NIC Distrtict Centre, Nagpur.

Following Activities and Central/State Level projects are implemented & supported by NIC District Centre, Nagpur . 

Land Records :-

1.      LMIS Land Management Information System

1.1 software ver-3 is implemented for all 14 Tehsils of Nagpur District.

1.2  Web database of ROR created and every month regularly uploading data on web site URL : 

1.3  Village Census Code updation as per IGR data.  

2.      PCIS : Property Cards Information System

2.1  Software ver-2 and ver-3 is implemented for three CTSO ( City Taluka Survey Officer) and 12 TILR offices.

2.2  Technical support is providing as and when required to CTSOs and computerized property cards are being distributed

3.      CODISS Computerised Documents of Index Search Software is implemented for CTSO-2  Offices and the computerized record room is inaugurated by  Hon. Guardian Minister of Nagpur Dist.

    Lokshahi Din :Lokshahi Din is celebrated on first Monday of every month. No. Of complaints receives against various Departments. This S/W maintains the information of all complaints and generate the report for District Administration.
